Biografie

I am a Mongolian freelance visual artist was born 1981 Sukhbaatar province Mongolia.

I graduated MFA, Setgemj Design University, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia 2000, Institute of Fine Art Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia 2005. Since 2007 executive director of the Mongolian Nature Artists’ association.

I grew up in a traditional nomadic family, I am initiated the Nomadic Art Project in 2009, started working mostly in nature and mastering the skills of transforming waste materials into huge installations that amplify nature and resemble nomadic lifestyle.

My nature artworks, I was invited to participate in multiple international biennales and festivals focused on environment, including Geumgang Nature Art Biennale, South Korea; Bangla Biennale, India; Echigo Tsumari Art Triennial, Japan; Beijing Biennale, China; Cheongju Biennnale, South Korea; Land Art 360 Biennale, Mongolia; Busan Biennale, South Korea; Global Nomadic Art Project, Italy, France and Mongolia; Mongolian Transylvanian artists exchange program, Mongolia and Transylvania, Cheng Long Wetlands International Environmental Art Project Symposium, Taiwan; Fruga Art Trail international art symposium Rab Island Croatia and others.

I was also invited to participate in more than 20 international residency programs in Finland, France, Italy, Hungary, Korea, Taiwan, India, USA, Japan and Mongolia.

I am recipient of awards such as Samu Geza Dij Award from the Hungarian Academy of Arts; Leading Cultural Worker of Mongolia by the Ministry of Culture; Prize of Union of Mongolian Artists, Mongolia; Austronesian International Arts Award by Taitung Art Museum, Taiwan; Grant by Kuan Shu Education Foundation for Environmental Art Project, Taiwan; Rubin Fellowships for Himalayan Artists, NY, USA.
